Finding a place to live or rent is often a tedious task. It involves effective planning and capital, but it also has to suit your needs and the lifestyle that you'd like to live. Finding a house can turn into a full time job and often people do not have the time to go through the process. Agulhas

Agulhas PropertiesCape Agulhas is a rocky headland in the Western Cape, South Africa. The official dividing point between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, it is also the geographic southern tip of Africa. It was most commonly known in English as Cape L'Agulhas until the 20th century. Located west of Cape Town and Table Mountain, you'll find the Atlantic Seaboard. Characterised by its beaches, cliffs, promenade and hillside communities. Betty's Bay PropertiesBetty's Bay is a small holiday town situated in the Overberg coast. It is located 96 km from Cape Town beneath the rugged Kogelberg Mountains. You can get to Betty's Bay along the scenic R44 ocean drive between Pringle Bay and Kleinmond. This area is simply stunning, a real treat for holidaymakers. Blouberg Properties
Located close to Cape Town along the shores of Table Bay, about 25 km to the north of Cape Town City Centre, you'll find Blouberg. Its name Bloubergstrand literally means "blue mountain beach" derived from Blaauwberg, a nearby mountain. Follow the link above for Blouberg properties.
The Boland, meaning "top country" or "land above" is a region situated to the northeast of Cape Town in the middle and upper courses of the Berg and Breede Rivers, around the mountains of the central Cape Fold Belt. It is sometimes also referred to as the Cape Winelands because it is the primary region for the making of Western Cape wine. Although the Boland does not have defined boundaries, its core lies around the towns of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Worcester. Durbanville is a former town which now forms part of the greater City of Cape Town metropolitan area. It is a rural residential suburb on the northern outskirts of the metropolis and is surrounded by farms producing wine and wheat. Fish Hoek Properties
Fish Hoek is a coastal town at the eastern end of the Fish Hoek Valley on the False Bay side of the Cape Peninsula. As a coastal suburb of Cape Town, Fish Hoek is popular as a residence for commuters, retired people and holidaymakers alike. The traditional industries of 'trek' fishing and angling coexist with the leisure pursuits of surfing, sailing and sunbathing. Gansbaai is a fishing town and popular tourist destination. It is widely known for its dense population of Great White Sharks and as a whale-watching location. Popular for its cage diving opportunities with the Great Whites, this activity attracts some of the highest numbers of tourists to South Africa for any activity in the country, second only to the Kruger National Park. Garden Route PropertiesThe Garden Route is a popular stretch of the south-eastern coast. It stretches from Heidelberg in the Western Cape to the Storms River in the extreme western reach of the neighbouring Eastern Cape. The name 'Garden Route' comes from the numerous lagoons and lakes found along the coast and the ecologically diverse vegetation found in the area. Towns including Mossel Bay, Knysna, Oudtshoorn, Plettenberg Bay and Nature's Valley all fall under the Garden Route; with George forming the route's largest city. George forms a popular holiday destination. It is the conference centre and the administrative and commercial hub of the Garden Route. The city is situated halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth on the Garden Route. Gordon's Bay is a harbour town close to Strand. Situated on the northeastern corner of False Bay, this town is about 50 km from Cape Town. Gordon's Bay is the smallest of three towns in the Helderberg region. Gordon's Bay was originally named 'Fish Hoek', many years before the town of the same name (see above), located on the western side of False Bay, was founded. Located roughly 45 kilometres outside of George, Hartenbos belongs, together with 20 other settlements, to the Mossel Bay Local Municipality. Helderberg is a wine-producing area originally known as the 'Hottentots-Holland' area. However, many people who live there still refer to it by its former name. The Helderberg consists of Somerset West, Strand, Gordons Bay and a few other towns. The district takes its name from the imposing Helderberg Mountain. Hermanus Properties
Hermanus is famous for its southern right whale watching during the southern winter and spring and is a popular retirement town. The whales can be seen from the cliffs in the town centre as early as June and usually depart in early December. The Old Harbour Museum contains several exhibitions that explain the whaling industry, and the De Wetshuis Photo Museum houses an exhibition of photos by T D Ravenscroft that depicts the history of Hermanus. Hout Bay is the name of this coastal suburb which hosts a mix of neighbourhoods from the very rich to the very poor. It lies in a valley on the Atlantic seaboard of the Cape Peninsula and is twenty kilometres south of the Cape Town CBD. Knysna PropertiesKnysna is part of the Garden Route and the town is primarily built on the northern shore of a large warm-water estuary, fed by the Knysna River. The estuary opens to the ocean after passing between two large headlands. These are popularly known as "The Heads", and have become infamous due to the loss of boats and fishermen passing through their treacherous and unpredictable waters. Near them are geological formations, known locally as "The Map Stones." This area is a popular holiday destination with the local people and tourists alike. Langebaan is a town on the eastern shore of the well known Langebaan Lagoon. The Lagoon stretches for 17km from Saldanha Bay, past Langebaan to Geelbek in the South. Milnerton is a suburb situated on the Atlantic Ocean, 11 kilometres to the north of Cape Town City's Centre. The Milnerton area of Cape Town includes the following sub-areas; Cambridge Estate, Century City, Du Noon, Joe Slovo Park, Lagoon Beach, Milnerton Ridge, Royal Ascot, Sanddrift, Tygerhof and Woodbridge Island. Mossel Bay Properties
Mossel Bay, also known as Mosselbaai is a harbour town on the Southern Cape (or Garden Route). It is an important tourism and farming region of the Western Cape Province. The older parts of the town occupy the north-facing side of the Cape St Blaize Peninsula, whilst the newer suburbs straddle the Peninsula and have spread eastwards along the sandy shore of the Bay. The town's economy relied heavily on farming, fishing and its commercial harbour, until the 1969 discovery of natural offshore gas fields led to the development of the gas-to-liquids refinery operated by PetroSA. The Northern Suburbs are mostly Afrikaans-speaking areas, and include the suburbs of Bellville, Bothasig, Brooklyn, Burgundy Estate, Durbanville, Edgemead, Elsie's River, Facreton, Goodwood, Kensington, Maitland, Monte Vista, Panorama, Parow, Richwood, Thornton, Table View, and Welgemoed. Paarl is the third oldest town and European settlement in the Republic of South Africa (after Cape Town and Stellenbosch) and the largest town in the Cape Winelands. It is situated about 60 kilometres northeast of Cape Town and is renowned for its scenic beauty and deep viticulture. It exudes an environment of fruit growing heritage. This area was founded by Johann Heinrich Ferdinand Parow who arrived to the locality in 1865. During a great storm in Table Bay, 19 ships were stranded. After being stranded, Captain Parow settled down in the Cape of Good Hope and married Johanna Wilhelmina Timmerman, the daughter of the family that helped Captain Parow after being stranded on the Cape coast. Parow quickly realised the potential value of the Tyger Valley area north of Cape Town and that the area held great opportunities for cattle trade. Plettenberg Bay Properties
Plettenberg Bay, nicknamed Plet or Plett, was originally named Bahia Formosa (beautiful bay) by early Portuguese explorers and lies on South Africa's Garden Route 210 km from Port Elizabeth and about 600 km from Cape Town. A popular destination with the young locals, many matriculates would make their way to Plettenberg Bay every December for an end of the year party. Somerset West

Somerset West is situated in the Helderberg area. The town is overlooked by the Helderberg (meaning "clear mountain"), a part of the Hottentots-Holland range of mountains. The land was initially bought from local people and a cattle post was established here by Dutch soldiers in 1672. The Helderberg Nature Reserve, a natural wildlife preserve opened in 1964, contains a wide variety of smaller fauna (buck, tortoises and other reptiles) and outstanding specimens of indigenous flora. Southern Suburbs

The Southern Suburbs includes Rondebosch, Claremont, Plumstead, Ottery, Wynberg, Newlands, Constantia and Bishopscourt, and to some aspects Pinelands and Observatory too. Some of these areas provide the most desirable places to live in for access to both the Cape Town CBD and the lure of the coast on the Fish Hoek and Simonstown side or across the way towards Clifton and Camps Bay. Stellenbosch

Stellenbosch Properties
Stellenbosch is situated about 50 kilometres east of Cape Town, along the banks of the Eerste River. It is the second oldest European settlement in the province, after Cape Town. The town became known as the City of Oaks or Eikestad in Afrikaans and Dutch due to the large number of oak trees that were planted by its founder, Simon van der Stel, to grace the streets and homesteads in the region. Strand

Strand PropertiesStrand is a seaside resort town situated on the eastern edge of False Bay and at the foot of the Hottentots Holland Mountains. Strand's main attraction is the beach; 5 km of white sandy beach lapped by the waters of False Bay. Surfing is a popular water sport in Strand and, along with the relaxed atmosphere, forms an integral part of the beach culture of the town. West Coast

Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the west and the Swartland region on the east, the West Coast region stretches for over 400 km from north to south and is well known for its scenic beauty and fertile fishing grounds. The main towns in this region are Saldanha, Paternoster, Vredenburg, Velddrif, St. Helena Bay, Langebaan, Hopefield, Darling and Yzerfontein.
